M&S Ventures was originally created in 1990 by Mark Mullins as Fuel Delivery and Handyman service for the town of Port Alsworth. His family business has expanded to benefit neighboring communities with Water Well Drilling & Well Maintenance, Heavy Equipment Rental, and General Contractor services.
What We've Achieved
In 1992, realizing the need for heating oil and gasoline reserves, Mark bought a fuel truck along with several storage tanks, and created Mullins Fuel Service, which delivers fuel directly to resident homes & businesses.
Mullins Fuel Service has delivered over a million gallons of fuel to the Tanalian Electric Co-op over the past 23 years.
Since the purchase of our "Sweet Water" Drill Rig in 2013, we have successfully drilled over 23 Water Wells in Port Alsworth alone, for both local homeowners and community establishments such as Tanalian Bible Camp and Tanalian School.
Our Drill Rig moves by barge to villages along Lake Clark, 6mile, and Lake Iliamna and . We have drilled multiple Water Wells for homeowners in neighboring Keys Point, and for the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium in Newhalen & Iliamna.
Our 160 LX Excavator played a big role in the demolition & re-build of Tanalian School in 2014-2015.
M&S Ventures primarily assisted the Port Alsworth Improvement Corporation's "Scrap Backhaul", which removed old rusted appliances, vehicles and other haz mat from Port Alsworth to a designated recycling center in Anchorage.
